THE PICNIC GROVE AND GAZEBO

Picnic Tables | The Grounds | The Gazebo

The National Capital Trolley Museum is located within Northwest Branch Regional Park in Montgomery County, Maryland. Although the Museum does not allow eating or drinking in the Museum or on the streetcars, picnic tables are available 50 feet up the hill next to the Museum.

School groups and families often use this area not only for lunch or birthday parties, but also for snacks in late morning or during the afternoon.

Tables are available on a first come, first served basis. There are also areas for sitting on blankets on the lawn if tables are not available or you prefer to be in the sun.

Please clean up the site no later than 30 minutes before the Museum closes (the Museum closes at 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday except in December; it closes at 2:00 pm on Thursdays and Fridays in spring in fall and at 3:00 pm on Thursdays and Fridays in the summer). A dumpster is available between the parking lot and the carbarn
