WB&A Kids Train Show

Visit the National Capital Trolley Museum for a special day in collaboration with the WB&A Train Club! Explore several different model layouts using different materials from Legos to O-scale models, for the kid in all of us. Create your own layouts, and operate the museum’s permanent model layout! Talk to model railroaders and learn how they put their layouts together, operate model trains, and create miniature scenes that mimic real life. Plus, ride a real railway on one of the museum’s historic streetcars and enjoy the spring air on our mile-long woodland track!

Neurodivergent-Friendly Hour: From 11am to 12 noon, the train show is reserved for neurodivergent individuals and those accompanying them. A quiet space with stimming opportunities will also be made readily available throughout the day (11am – 4pm) to anyone who needs them. Please note that due to the historic nature of our streetcars, they are regrettably not wheelchair accessible.

If you plan to visit without riding the streetcar, please pay at the door. Non-rider admission is $5 per person. Thank you!
