Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) STEM Team Visits Museum
On August 21, the National Capital Trolley Museum welcomed Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) STEM Coordinator Rosanna Haywood and her team for a tour of the museum and a meeting with our Educator, Abena Prempeh.
The visit focused on exploring how the Museum and MCPS STEM can work together to grow and expand our current STEM programming. Together, we’re working with MCPS and other community partners to develop a new, engaging STEM education program, with the goal of launching it in 2027.
We’re excited about the possibilities and look forward to building partnerships that connect students with hands-on learning, transportation, engineering, technology, and the history of electric railways.
