The Final Weeks of This Year’s STEM Program!
The Final Weeks of This Year’s STEM Program!
We’re heading into the final weeks of this year’s STEM program, and our students still have plenty of opportunities to explore, experiment, build, and discover through the science and technology of streetcars!
From electricity and electric traction to engineering, mechanics, and transportation, our program uses the museum’s historic streetcars as a hands-on classroom where students can see STEM concepts come to life.
As this year’s program winds down and a new school year begins, we’re already looking ahead to next year.
In the coming weeks, the museum will be reaching out to STEM teachers and educators to get their feedback on what worked well, what could be improved, and what they would like to see in future programs. Their experience in the classroom is essential to helping us develop activities and curriculum that are meaningful, engaging, and aligned with what students are learning in school.
Our goal is to continue growing the program, adding new hands-on experiences, and reaching even more young people through the intersection of transportation, technology, engineering, and history.
This year’s program may be winding down, but we’re already building the next generation of STEM experiences at the museum!
