Our Mission
The National Capital Trolley Museum is dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and promoting the history of urban electric street and interurban railways of the National Capital region. Through the collection, restoration, and operation of historic trolleys and related artifacts, we aim to educate the public about the vital role of streetcars in the development of the region and beyond.
Our mission is to provide an engaging and authentic experience that connects past innovations in transit to contemporary conversations about sustainable transportation and community development.
